No Tornados here... just one massive storm

This is what my area looked like yesterday afternoon about 5 o'clock. Thirty minutes prior to this is was 97 degrees and sunny, and I was laying out in the back yard catching rays with Chris. I went inside to take a shower and when I got out this is what we were dealing with.
Although we didn't get hail at our house a few areas around us saw a good amount....
There are downed trees every where.... power lines down... some schools are closed...
If I was the driver of this truck I probably would have crapped my pants... that body of water right there is the Atlantic Ocean...
And the weather people said we had wind gust up to 70+ mph...
I surely thought our neighbors huge maple tree (not pictured above) was going to get torn out of the ground. Luckily, we only lost power for about a minute or two... after that I was glued to the Weather Channel watching all the horrible weather moving across Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was effected by this horrible storm.

End of the world???

Any one think the world is seriously going to end this Saturday May 21st 2011?

I am thinking, maybe I should have an end of the world party? Sounds like fun.

Have you ever ate soooo much.......

Last night my sister, myself and a few of our friends went here for dinner last night for our friend Amber's Birthday dinner.

We devoured the spinach artichoke cheese as well as the fiesta cheese.
Of course I had to get a house salad to with their delicious house dressing... and then we had a feast with the entree and all the yummy goodness of the sauces.
Which then lead us to dive into some cocktails and what some may call the best part of the meal the dessert part (my favorite by far is the cheese).
Which then leads me to the title of this post.... have you ever ate soooooo...much.........

That you throw up when you get home? Cause that happened to me twice last night. And no, I am not sick.... nor pregnant. I just ate a crap ton of food, and in the restaurant I even mentioned the yacking may take place when I got home. And sure enough when I got home... I had to pry myself out of my skinny jeans (note to self NEVER wear skinny jeans when going to Melting Pot) went in to wash my face and brush my teeth... and it was all over from there.

I will say that I felt much better after the fact.

Next week I have a Cancer fundraiser to attend and guess where it's being held at??? Melting Pot!!

1. I will not be wearing skinny jeans
2. I will not eat all day long
3. I will not over eat

Pictures to come hopefully tomorrow.

I have an ass load of pictures to download from my trip to Savannah.... softball tourneys and dinner last night.

Happy Hump Day!

PROUD

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a terrific weekend.

As everyone knows last night it was announced that Osama bin Laden, has been killed. I along with millions of other people I am relieved to know this... and I am sure everyone is on edge now wondering if there will be a retaliation due to his death.

But, the reason for this post is because I want to say how PROUD I am to live in one of the largest Military based states in the U.S! I am PROUD that one of our SEAL based teams here in Virginia Beach were the ones to take down this horrible person, and I am PROUD of every single person that has fought for us..... who is still fighting for us.... and who has had there life cut short for us!

I am PROUD that my Dad served 27 years in the Navy... and PROUD that Chris has spent the last 12 years serving in the Navy!
