O.T.H. for Hump Day....

Dear Meterologist.... I have three words for you LOCK IT UP!!!! So I don't know if it is just here in good ole' Va Beach, but does anyone else's weather people stink? It never fails that at the beginning of summer, it seems as if they call for rain EVERYDAY! I don't know if this is just to cover their butts or what, but it's a little crazy here. Lets take today for example.... the weather was calling for rain at 9 o' clock this morning sunny all day until finally 3 o'clock comes rollin around and it starts raining cats and dogs! Again, I'm jus' sayin it's a little crazy!

So since it's raining, all the better reason to head home and be a complete sloth. I'm thinking breakfast sounds good for dinner, then to finish up my girlfriend Kerri's wedding announcements! PROCRASTINATION = Bad habit of mine. =( Although I can say that it doesn't happen all the time.

Hope everyone has a good evening... kinda of a blah blog today, but it's time to head home.

Busy Weekend

Alrighty.... well it's Tuesday, and again let me just say how thankful I am that I only work Monday thru Thursday! =)

So my weekend went pretty well... quick run down of what happened.......

Friday = Lazy: I didn't do anything that I had planned except for laundry and that is only because Chris and I were heading out of town for the day on Saturday. In all fairness I am justifying my lazy Friday, because I rarely ever get them. So me, baby girl ------------------->
and the T.V were bff's all day. =)

Saturday = EXHAUSTING: Getting up at 5 am to drive to Maryland for Chris' softball tournament is a little crazy, but I love watching him play (vomit, I know). The day actually turned out to be very nice, minus the rude church group having a cookout and letting there trash blow everywhere.... and I mean everywhere. Ehh... so gross!!! Any whoo... Chris' team won the tourney and went undefeated so it was well worth the trip. Oh yeah and he got the MVP trophy AGAIN.... at least this one was different from the other ones they normally give out not the same softball glove or little man with a bat in his hands. Finally they got done at 7 pm, and we headed home. Which let me just fill whoever is reading 1.) I HATE driving at night and 2.) I HATE driving in the rain! I had to do both!!!! =( Finally arrived home at 12 am!

Sunday = Sunday Fun Day: Woke up about 9, recieved a text from some friends that they were going to the beach to go surfing, so we were up and attem' and out the door by 11:30 and headed to the beach. Let me just state for the record that when I say surf I mean Chris, Dan, and Cat went surfing, they caught the waves, I caught the rays! =) I love living so close to the beach.

~Here is Cat and Dan riding on Chris' surfboard together. Cat is still learning the basics so he took her out with him.

~ Here is Chris heading out on his board... mind you I just purchased his board for him in June for his birthday and this is all he wants to do on the weekends when he isn't playing softball! Not only that, this is his first summer surfing and it's kinda disturbing how good he is at it! I call him the ALL AMERICAN BOY... he is literally good at EVERYTHING!

So after a relaxing day on the beach, we went and ate dinner with my sister. She cooked us steak, red potatoes, broccoli with cheese, and rolls. Perfect ending to a great day.

Monday = Ehhh.. Work: <----- that explains it all!

Have a great Tuesday!

Lets try this little thingy out.....

So here I am blogging. I've always read people's blogs and have always been wanting to try it, so I figured since it's Friday... I'm off and laying in bed, what better time to start then now!

So a little bit about me not that I expect anyone to "follow" my blogs, but just in case.

I live on the East Coast, Virginia Beach, Virginia to be exact. It's home, always has been (besides the 3 years I lived in NY). I live with my roommate and her daughter, although I am never there. I am 93% of the time at my boyfriend Christopher's bachelor pad (he lives with 3 other guys). We have a 9 month old Rottweiler named Layla (pictures to come later). I also have a cat named Zoe, but she is scared of my roommates dog, so she is with my sister now. I am pushing 30..... which
is kinda nice, but kinda weird. I guess just the mentality of knowing I won't be in my 20's anymore. So there it is... just a little blurb about me. I am sure I will dispose more information about me as I continue blogging.

anyhooo....

So as I sit here on the bed, I am thinking to myself that there is a ton of stuff that needs to be done and that should be getting done, and I still find myself laying here flipping the channel between Foodnetwork and HGTV (two of my favorite channels).

Sooo...... here are the items of things that should be getting done......

~ BF's Laundry (a little of mine tossed in there)

~ Cleaning the bathroom

~ Dusting

~ Vacuuming

~ Weeding the front flower beds (more about that subject later)

Not to much to do, and I can say majority of them will be getting done today except the weeding part.

So let me just say I don't mind doing yard work (weeding, planting, watering). My boyfriends bachelor pad right now is "That House" on his street. They/ we (and I say "we" because my roommate and I live a street away) live in a great neighborhood. It would seem that they are a little out of place, just for the fact that they have 4 guys living here and all their neighbors are a little older or they are in the mid-thirties with a family. But none the less they are well liked on their street except for the fact there house is a bit of an eye sore right now. Last year they put in a much needed flower bed....... I planted flowers and made it more inviting, but they are HORRIBLE about weeding. Up until about two or three weeks ago the weeds were literally up to my waist. I went and bought spray to kill them and it worked, but now it's just dead yellow weeds in the flower beds and none of them seem motivated to go out and actually pull them out. I actually think that they are waiting for me to do it, and most likely I will because the more I talk about it, the more it's starting to URK my nerves.

So I guess this is where I should end my very first blog, so I can start on my "To do List"....... wish me luck! =)
