Rainy Monday...

But it's all good in da' hood, because today is flying by! Which is always a GREAT thing for a Monday.

So here is a little run down of my weekend.

Friday:

After I finally got Chris's lazy buttocks up off the couch, we went to go see our friends Blake and Kerri up at the hospital. We ended up staying with them until 5:00, when they were ready to do the epidural. And at 6:45 pm little Skylar Reese Spell was born. She weighed in at 8lbs 4 oz. =) Sorry I didn't take any pictures of her because the "Mommy and Baby" room was super small. And about 20 people in there. So as soon as I get some pictures I will post them. =)

After the hospital we were suppose to go to our friends surprise party... but shame on us we didn't go.... we took our baby girl out for a walk.

She's so spoiled that she really doesn't know how to play fetch.... kinda sad!
And here I just added a picture of my niece... another Skylar Reese


And my nephew..... Zander Rian

So Friday night since we didn't go to the party, we decided to hit up Diary Queen and watch Schindler's List. =)

Saturday:

Chris and I did some charity bartending. My Office Manager is part of a non profitable organization that raises money for charities, so she asked if I would help out. So me being the good person that I am agreed and volunteered Chris as well! =) Can't really complain when it's free drinks, food and music. =)

Sunday:

All I have to say about Sunday is that New England Patriots may want to look at a new Quarterback..... just sayin!

So Chris and I FINALLY decided what we were going to be for Halloween! 1920's "Gangster" and Flapper! I think I am going for this costume right here..........

Is it sad that I am ready for the weekend already? A group of us are going to the HUGE wine festival this weekend. The weather is suppose to be great, and I can't wait! =)

Thursday + Friday = Thuridays, which means it's my FRIDAY!

This week has been some kinda crappola week, lemme tell you!

Thank you for comments yesterday. I must say my time of the month is bad, unfortunately I was complaining about the T.P. Assistant and her Aunt Flo! I mean I suck it up, and deal with it. I can't be on the good ole' birth control because of my lovely genetics to blood clots, but she can! She's just to lazy to go get it. She went to the doctors yesterday, but not the one that she needed to go too! It's just a little frustrating that every month she is bound to get one day off from this issue. Needless to say that Doc and Office Manager are not very happy with her right now!

Friday morning this lovely prego BF and her hubby (pictured below)
Will be welcoming their little baby girl SKYLAR REESE SPELL! So I will probably be with her all morning. I am so excited!

Friday night, we have a surprise party for our friend Reggie. So that should be fun. =)

Saturday, my Office Manager just asked if I wanted to help her bartend at one of her weekend events, since her daughter backed out. I of course said yes, even though I have never bartended a day in my life.

And well Sunday, is just my normal babysitting routine and watching some football. =)

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day. The weather here in VA is gorgeous. A lovely 66 degrees and the sun is shining! =)

Eww... Just to start, but not to be a Debbie Downer... I hate today! I'm over it... ready to pack up and go home.

Anyone have any good ideas for couples costumes? I thinking about having Chris and I be Danny and Sandy from Grease, but I don't think he is thrilled about that. Sooooo... If anyone has any good ideas they would like to pass a long... that would be great! =)

A whole lotta randomness/ Thankful Thursday

So I love the items on Glamlist..... just found this cute dress (sorry for the blurriness)

I have only purchased one thing from Glamlist and it took FoReVeR for me to finally receive it... 2 months maybe 3.! WTF, I know a little ridic!

So I guess I will just have to swoon over it, because my impatient personality can't wait that long for a purchase to arrive. =(

I just downed a whole lotta carbs for lunch! And I don't care.... well kinda I do!

I was in the back heating up my leftovers from last night and t.p assistant was like "whatcha cooking" I said noodles and potatoes... she looked in my bowl and was like "that's a whole lotta carbs, aren't you suppose to be watching that?" Ummm... no. no I'm not. As I am thinking in my head, sister like you have any room to talk! Jus' sayin!

So my mom informed me the other day, that she works with my (stay with me now) ex husbands... best friends.... girlfriend. Mom my really likes her, and they didn't know the connection before the other day. My mother being the pain in the ass that she is..... decided to inform her how much she disliked my ex family, and his new wife (which is her friend). Ummm.... awkward? Just a little I would say! Then my big mouth mother was like the house they are in my daughter and him built and she got none of it....... REALLY MOM, it's none of her business and I am sure she already knows the story.

I've never met this girl, and don't plan on it. But I SERIOUSLY dislike her bf and I am sure he is part of the reason why my ex cheated... anyhoo.... I am sure this girl felt a little awkward, and my mom really likes her a lot, so I would hate that things get weird between them in the work place.... should I drop her a message on facebook (That's the only way I know to contact her) and let her know not to take what my mom said to heart, and that I am seriously over it (it's been 4 years for goodness sakes) I am happy, and my ex seems happy so that's all that matters. Or do I just drop it and not contact her? Advice would be great!
