sleep deprived lately....

And I blame you Super Mario Bros.! For my lack of sleep and my numb/tingly thumb!

I bought this game for my Nephew (5) and Niece (4), and although my nephew does pretty well at playing this addiction, there are areas where he isn't great at.... so who gets stuck playing??? I do!

And once I am on a roll, I'm on a roll and don't want to stop ya see.....

This whole week so far, I have been telling myself I want to be in bed by 9:30 or 10. And I'll be damned if it isn't 11:30 or 12:00 by the time I have to literally force myself to stop!

I am hoping this is just a phase, and I don't turn into a gamer!

Ahh... the good ole' days!

This picture was snapped two summers ago, post divorce. It was taken in one of our favorite bars down at the beach called Lunaseas. In the photo are some of my girlfriends and bff (from left to right) Marian, Andrea, Jessica and myself.

This picture gets me excited for summer... not only for the tanned part, but for all the great happy hours on the beach! =)

The question I am getting tired of hearing is....

What do you want for your birthday?

I never thought that the day would come and I would get tired of hearing that. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE getting presents, but I just hate sounding greedy when I start listing off stuff that I want.


Chris blabbed and told me one of my gifts already. Which is going to a Broadway show in April when we go to NY, and I think this is going to be the winning pick....

Nasty tampon story.... squatters.... & death threats..

Ahh..... it's been asstastic past two weeks, with being sick and the chaos that took place during the weekend.

Lets start with last weekend....

Friday:

So last Friday someone told me a nasty story (cough.. cough.. t.p).

They went to the va-jayjay doc, to find out they had a tampon stuck up inside them!!!! (not kidding total serious face on!)

How does one forget that they have a tampon in? Is that not one of that nastiest things you have heard!

Bleh.... VOMIT!

Friday night Chris and I went bowling, nothing to exciting there since I am really not that great of a bowler. I think my highest score out of the 3 games we played was a 67! =)

Saturday:

Chris and I were pretty slothy in the morning. When we finally got motivated to get up, we met some of our friends a local bar on the beach for some lunch and drinks.

We went home lounged around and watched basketball.

And then had frozen pizza and wine for dinner, while we watched the Olympics.

Sunday:

Chris was up at 8:30 for some odd reason, and he decided that I needed to be up with him instead of sleeping in.

We exchanged our gifts..

I got him a new brown leather casual watch that he has been wanting and he gave me flowers, balloons, cards, a tanning pass & lotion, and a new make-up bag that he said was for both of us.

Which means that it's for me to put all my cosmetics in, but for him because now they won't be scattered around his bathroom! =)

So after presents he said... now it's my day I am watching the Syracuse vs. Louisville game. And we sat and watched basketball until it was time to get ready for dinner.

We had 5:30 reservations at McCormick & Schmick's, and we were joined by our friends Cat & Dan. Dinner ended up to be really nice, it's definitely not one of my favorite places, but it was good.

After dinner Cat & Dan came back to Chris's house and we ended up play cards. Things ended up getting a little heated while we were play cards because Dan is VERY competitive and kept losing!

I ended up going to bed because I couldn't take it anymore.

Monday:

I was still not feeling well, so I went home early from work. Chris and I had pizza and watched Couples Retreat, which was just ehhh..... okay.

Tuesday:

I get to work and T.P assistant isn't here because of her son being sick...

the day actually went by fast... and then I get an anonymous phone call letting us know there is an obscene post about our office on Craiglist under the Rant & Rave section. So I sign onto Craigslist... click into the section... scrolled down and found the article....

After reading the second paragraph, I already knew who wrote it. I'm not going to post it on here because it is really distasteful..... but I will however post the last line of the post.....

So fuck you too David, Jeanette, Keri and the whole bunch. Hope you die.

So the narcissistic asshat who wrote this post, is my roommates ex-husband! Who is a little bitter because he had a balance in our office, that he failed to pay for the last 2.5 years. He has a court date with our lawyer on Thursday, and I am sure the judge is going to LOVE this little post he wrote!

Not only that the asshat is suppose to be taking his Chief exam for the military tomorrow... and guess who is getting a little copy of his lovely post??? His Commanding Officer!

So here is to you MIKE you narcissistic asshate of a womanizer, your 35 you need to grow the f*&^ up and pay your bills! =)

Which leads us too today..... I never really get on Craigslist, so it surprises me that this morning one of our patients called to inform me of the post as well on Craigslist, and to let us know someone responded to it with this...

Hate to break it to ya, but you're the one who fucked up in this situation. You knew you owed them money so it was your responsibility to pay it. Did you think just because you hadn't received a bill you didn't owe anything? If you're gonna be pissed at someone, be pissed at your ex for not forwarding your mail. I liked the "saprophyte motherfuckers" insult, though. Kudos for originality.

Hmm.... where to start with this....

Lately I have been feeling some what distant from my best friend, and it really saddens me!

We use to do EVERYTHING together.......

She'd be there for me when Chris & I were in an argument...

I'd be the one driving her drunk ass home after the bars every night... (literally every night)

She'd be the one puking in the front seat of my Lexus...

I'd be the one cleaning it out at 3 am....

We were the girls everyone called to see what we were getting into...

She would be the one, that chased down a random stranger at a bar, when so called random stranger picked me up in the bar and started walking out with me.....

I'd be the one giving the pep talks when guys were being complete douche bags to her...

I could go on and on about she and I.... we were Frick & Frack.

And now that she and I are both in serious relationships, I feel like we are slowly drifting apart from each other.

And to be honest I don't want that to happen!

Yes, we both work different hours for our jobs...

I have the office job Mon- Thurs 8 am - 4 pm

She has salon hours Wed- Sat 10 am - 8 pm

There have been numerous times when I have invited her and her boyfriend out, to join Chris and I at dinner... or her to hang out with the girls, and all I get are excuses on why she can't meet up with us.

She and her boyfriend and Chris and I have both been dating for a little over 3 years. And the four of us have only gotten together once in that whole time period! Which was to a concert and her bf really didn't seem to be thrilled to be there.

I've have only been over to her house twice, and it's not like we live hours away from each other, she's only a 30 min drive away, and works 10 mins from my house. I have dropped by her work to visit her and drop her off at Starbucks now and then, but I just don't get it.

I just keep thinking over and over again in my head, what went wrong? Did I do something to her? Does her boyfriend not like me? WHAT IS IT!



I miss us! =(

Snow dance!

Yay!!! It's snowing it's arse off here! And now I am just waiting for the phone calls to pour in for patient cancellations!

Although I do feel sorry for the peeps up North, but this sister needs a snow day! =)

It's raw... red... and disgusting looking! I am just waiting for it to start cracking and bleeding from all the blowing and wiping I am doing!

And can I just mention.... sick does not look pretty on me! NOT AT ALL!

I went last night and purchased two boxes of tissues...

Puffs with the vicks in it! (i'm slightly obsessed with vicks vapor rub.)

And then a small box of Kleenex with lotion for work since the tissues we have there are like cardboard!

Just F.Y.I., I prefer Puff's to Kleenex!


Anyhoo....

Last night while I was laying in bed... (hoping to get to sleep at a decent time) I flipped to one of my favorite channels BRAVO to catch Millionaire Match Maker and then an episode of Kell on Earth.

And lemme just say... as much as I <3 Patti.... I L.O.V.E Kelly!

I can't wait for the new Real Housewives of New York to come back on either!

Yesterday Chris and I went with two friends to Massanutten to go snowboarding... and today I feel like this......

Hi all new followers!

Although I am a little concerned with two new followers that have appeared... I don't want to pass judgement on anyone....

I would've pee'd my pants...

Arriving to work today with it still being icy and slushy from the ever lasting snow.... common sense kicked in to not park in the area it was, well icy and slushy!

When I walked into work all, I hear is "well put that ice pack on your elbow so it doesn't swell up!"

A few minutes later L the office manager comes out from the back and tells me that T.P Assistant slipped on the ice and fell.

Thinking to myself... damn it I wish I was there to see it!

I tell L that I am surprised she actually came in today considering the kids had a 2 hour delay due to the nasty roads..

L informs me that T.P called her early this morning claiming she couldn't come in because of the delay.. and L informs T.P that she will not be able to use a sick day if she doesn't come in.

T.P comes in with her daughter... and stupid parks in the most iciest spot in the parking lot!

I mean seriously use your brain!

So I guess when she got out of the car..... slip sliding she went.... her lunch went every where.... her phone flew out of her hands and into three pieces (just the phone... battery... and and backing.. nothing major, before you think I am a total bitch)

So she calms down and walks up front and asked if I heard what happened... I said yes... and that she better be glad I didn't see it because I would have probably pee'd my pants from laughing so hard! (mean? YES! Don't judge, you all know you would laugh too!)

She said you would have? And I said yes, and not to lie because if it would have happened to me she probably would have laughed too! And was all like, no I wouldn't! I told her she was full of crap! She finally admitted that she would have.

I did tell her that she deserved it for parking on ice in the first place.. when there were many empty spots with no ice on them!


There..... thats my funny story for today! =)

Virginia Beach is not known for getting snow.... so I think it is complete bullshit that I have to be a work today!

The roads are all iced over.. my normal 15 min drive to work took me over an hour...

I am the only one here at work that doesn't have an SUV... I am driving a little '04 Acura TL.. I mean seriously! The main roads have barely been plowed or salt/sanded!

The Doctor isn't seeing anyone today, because the T.P Assistant "couldn't" come in since the kids are out of school!

Which pisses me off even more!

She then has the nerve to ask the Office Manager if she could use a sick day today!?!
