Happy Birthday!

HaPpY 5th BiRtHdAy to my niece Skylar Reese! It's amazing at 5 years old how she can have a love/hate relationship with me. There are days when she is ALL about me, and then there are days when she wants NOTHING to do with me. And although I didn't birth her.. everyone always calls her my mini me, which makes me love her even more!

So here is to you Skylar.. I can't wait to see what kinda of woman you grow into and where your life may take you. Love you bunches! xoxoxo Love ~Aunt KiKi


In other news.. I can't believe it's been 14 days since my last post! I've been working my booty off try to get the bachelor pad in order.

I have 2.5 projects started and still have two more to go before my Babes gets home in 55 days! The master bathroom (Chris' bathroom) has been gutted.. everything is out except for the tub/shower. The tile is laid and will hopefully be finished tonight! And the new toilet and vanity will be here on Friday. In between the tile and installing the new goods, I will continue peeling the horrible grandma wallpaper that I so carelessly painted over not once, but twice!

And if this rain would ever stop... maybe I could finish painting the trim outside before it gets to cold to do it. Right now the outside looks like a color wheel... a little bit of sage green... a little bit of country blue... Americana red... cream and off white.

Miss Bananas, yes I did paint the cabinets white... actually I need to put a coat of glossy white on it. I did semi gloss and I think I want them a little bit glossier. And not only that the roomie is seriously messy when he cooks so I figured it will be easier to wipe off too.

Pictures to come soon! (I misplaced my BOTH camera chargers (don't ask how), ended up locating one of them at my girlfriends house and then forgot to grab it before I left!!)

A little less then...

70 days until my studly man gets home!

I have so much crap still left to do before he gets home.
Which is why I am hoping that it ends up being nice on Friday, because I would really like to paint the front of the house (trim and shutters)
AND
Possibly get the screened in porch re-painted and a new fan for out there.

And next weekend I hope to get the bathroom re-done.. get rid of that nasty linoleum and put tile down, new bathroom vanity and top and new toilet (which I am kinda excited about.. because it has a push button to flush... soft press for "liquids" hard press for "solids"). Also re-painting the bathroom and bedroom.

If I can get this all done before he gets home... I will be amazed. But I am going to bust my buttocks and try really hard.

Blah the Dentist

How is it that I have worked in the dental field for over 10 years and still HATE getting my teeth cleaned??

Maybe it's because I always have something wrong when I go.

And maybe I will find out today when my grill piece comes off as well!

Truly Outrageous

My Halloween costume has been picked out. I am really showing my age with this one here, but I wanted something different and not just the skanky costumes that I am used to getting. Soooo.... Jem it is.
Can't be that hard to replicate... pink wrap dress... the silver fringed belt... glittery tights.. and heels. Oh, and lets not forget the pink hair.
I am however concerned with the make up. I don't know how truly outrageous this look is going to look on me!


In other news... I am going camping AGAIN this weekend. Should be good times, but I am ready for a weekend of being completely lazy with no plans at all.

Also, I would love to give a BIG thank you for Mrs. Chrystal for letting me come invade her home in Alabama for the weekend. I had a blast with you and the family and can't wait to come visit again! =) Love ya gurl frand! We of course were having way to much fun and didn't take a lot of pictures. And I didn't have my camera's because some how I lost BOTH chargers for them (don't ask how that happens.).

Hope everyone has a great Thursday! Looks like I will be out of here at 2 or 3 today to start my weekend. (Don't be jelly!)
