Some people..

I normally babysit a handicap child (actually an adult, but looks like a child) every Sunday. No biggie, it's extra cash, and I've been babysitting for the family for about 16 years.

They are a wealthy family and have a two other children who are 16 and 13 years old and have no problems.

They have a maid/nanny that comes to the house Mon-Saturday from 6:00am - 8:00pm.

So my gist of this rambling is.... She calls me today at work, to ask if I was available on Sunday to babysit. SUNDAY as in Easter Sunday!

I mean I should be use to this because I babysit, pretty much every holiday for her... including Christmas Eve simply because they don't want to "hassle" with her, while they are with the whole family for dinner.

But sometimes, I just want to say.. that's your daughter.. it's a holiday... spend some time with her!

Anyone else think this is a little crazy?

I am in love with the Passion Fruit Shaken Iced Tea Lemonades from Starbucks! With Spring weather in the air and temps in the 70's these are much yummier then hot coffee.

~ When I got up this morning, and saw that it was STILL raining outside. Because you know the monsoon that we had yesterday wasn't enough.

~ Or could it have been the stupid skeez who I was stuck behind at the busiest intersection, while she was putting on her makeup. And not just her blush or powder... I am talking EVERYTHING from foundation........ to her eyeliner! And letting everyone get in front of her because shes going like 5 mph.

So I have decided tonight , I am skipping the gym...... I'm going to veg out... get some ice cream and crawl into bed early tonight!

Hip Dysplasia! =(

She will be on pain meds two times a day...... and joint supplements.

Hopefully this helps and we don't have to have her hip replaced.

We are still going to go see the Ortho Doctor to see what our options are.

this bugs the hell outta me!

I've been at my place of employment for 4 years come April 13Th, and I have only gotten 1 raise.

I go above and beyond from what my job description calls for. I never call out sick unless I am seriously ill, and even then I come in for a half day, confirm appointments, pull charts, file and then go home. That way I am not putting my duty load on anyone else.

And I never leave early... I am always the last one here until about 4:15 sometimes later.

This job is waring me out........

But at the same time I am thankful to have a job.

This weather is BuNk....

This is how the weather has been the past two days... rainy & cold, and in the 50's. =(

I miss the weekend weather. Saturday was 83 degrees, and Sunday was 73.

(Mother Nature get your crap together.. I am over the cold, rain and wind!)

I want sun and warm weather like ASAP!
Since I am in super funk mode, I figured I would do some more retail therapy, and add to my "new" Spring wardrobe.

That's me today...

It's Monday....

Work sucks.....

The weather sucks.....

And Chris leaves tomorrow for two weeks.

It's FRIDAY & Gorgeous out.....

So let's talk about babies............

The other day Chris and I were in the car talking about kids. I have known forever that Chris wants many-a kids.

So he mentions how many kids he wants (I won't spoil it yet). I tell him that I am perfectly happy with just this.......

One!

MAYBE....... just MAYBE .....
TWO!

But no more then two.

He says "well I want a big family." Yeah... that's fine boo, but I can barely stay sane with my niece and nephew at times.

So I am like well how many do you actually want?

And he is like.......


Four or Five!

Ummmm... what??

And the best part is he wants them two years apart!

Lets do some math here. I just turned 30 as everyone knows..... So lets say when Chris gets back in February and something "happens" I will be 1 month shy of my 31st birthday..... so I will be 31 when I have the child. So if Chris has it his way (which let me inform you there is NO WAY I will be having 4-5 kids) I will be 31, 33, 35, 37, 39 when I have my children.

My first child will be going into kindergarten when I am 39............

And my last child will be going into kindergarten when I am 44.........

When my first child graduates High School I will be 49........

And my last child will graduate High School when I am 57........

I think this is too old for me. I am not knocking older Mothers, some people have plans and stick with them and older is fine for them.

Me... notsomuch!

I told Chris that we needed to start working on something soon because his cougar isn't getting any younger!

I ask him if he wants boys or girls (this answer changes every other time we talk about kids). He tells me he wants all boys.

His reasoning is... because he wants his kids to be known in the school. He wants the teachers to be like oh crap here is another Lent kid. (my kids will be well behaved I can assure you that.)

AND... he said he wants days where I call him up at work crying because I can't handle the boys! Isn't that nice! =)

So yeah... I think I may compromise and have 3. MAYBE!

Boy... Boy... Girl. =)

busy weekend..

Friday: was pretty low key.. I stayed at the bachelor pad since Chris and his roommate had duty.

I was going to be a nice girlfriend and start his laundry, but had a rude awakening when I found out their dryer is broken.

Saturday: The boys got home and we got decked out for the Saint Paddy's festives.... one drink in, and out the door by 9:00 am.

It was raining and a freezing 50 degrees when we got down there, and then the sun decided to come out and warm us up with 77 degree weather! =)

After this party we went to GREENIES and partied some more. We stayed there until about 4:00... went home, showered, and then got dressed to go to my old roomies birthday dinner on the other side of town.

From there we went to yet ANOTHER St. Patrick's Day party at the bar down the street from where we had dinner.

Sunday: Chris got con-ed into playing softball, he said the last game was at 1..... ha ha ha .... his last game ended at 7:30!

Not my idea of Sunday Funday!

I did however break away from one of his games to go shopping... I've been eyeing these beauties for awhile now...



So I decided to go get them.

Originally $120, on sale for $83, I had a gift card that had about $25 dollars left on it, and then an extra 20% off = $45.00! HOLLA

I also bought another pair of jeans and shirt from the Gap. =)

After softball, Chris and I ordered pizza and watched Law Abiding Citizen, which was really good. Then again I love me some Gerard Butler, so I like anything he's in.

Which then brings us to this

Monday: Which is shitty... I'm not going to fake the funk, it's nasty outside & I'm in a bad mood. I'm ready for Spring like now!

Note to self....

Dear Self,

If you leave the back door open for the puppies during the day,because you want to be a nice mommy, please know that you will have little flying critters enter the house!

Not only will they enter the house, but they will also wait for the perfect time to come out and start 'effing with you.

And of course that time will be when you are getting ready for bed catching up on your blog reading. While you are reading the little disgusting pest will land right next to you! You will scream... it will fly off... and then you start looking around like a paranoid schizophrenic.

A few clap claps here..... and clap claps there, with trying to catch the little shit in your hand you come the the conclusion that isn't working...

At this point your peripheral vision is on point and you see it flying in your lamp shade... you swat at the shade and it quickly zips away...

(20 minutes has now passed and he is still buzzing around)

So do the next logical thing and grab the bottle of windex! Spray that little M.Effer down until he suffocates off the fumes and his little wings are too wet to fly.

And in the mean time, hope you don't suffocate with him!

Retail Therapy

Spring is in the air! This weekend it is suppose to be close to 60 degree's, and I am super STOKED!


And since I need to start updating my wardrobe, I figured I would start sooner rather then later.


Arden B is having a great sale, when you buy one sale item you get the next sale item for just $5!

So I purchased this top... And these gaucho pants....

The shirt was $34 and I only ended up paying $5 for the pants... SCORE!


And since my birthday is coming up.... in a mere 4 days, I think I am going to treat myself to this shirt....

And this pair of hotness!

I am going to be a bad girl today, and hit up the tanning bed, this sister can't handle looking pasty anymore. I look like a Zombie!
